Fruit Tartlets by Ange Tan

Tart cream (for 12 tartlets)

80ml milk
1 egg yolk
3 tsp plain flour
1.5 tsp corn flour
4 tsp sugar (can add 1-2tsp if super sweet tooth)
0.5 tsp vanilla essence

-Whisk yolk, flour and sugar till mix well and light color in a bowl.
-Low fire heat up milk in saucepan.
-Scoop some warm milk to temper the yolk mixture, continue whisk.
-Pour the yolk mixture into the saucepan, cook in medium fire, when the mixture gets thicken within seconds, whisk vigorously, off fire.
-Pour mixture into bowl, add vanilla, mix well.
-Chill in fridge and ready to use.
