Fried Tempe by ‎Rita Choo


Ingredients

1 package of tempe (from supermarket), thinly sliced into squares
2 cloves of crushed garlic
a bowl of salt water (add salt to taste to a bowl of water enough to cover all the sliced tempe)
1/8 - 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
cornflour
oil for frying

Method

1. Mix garlic, salt water and turmeric powder.

2. Marinate tempe slices in the salt/garlic water for at least 30 minutes.

3. Coat marinated tempe with cornflour.

4. Fry until golden brown. Serve!
