Stir fry prawns in soya sauce by Margaret Goh


1. Sprinkle some salt on your prawns and set aside.
2. Fry some minced garlic till fragrant.
3. Put in your prawns and fry till they turn pink and fragrant (i.e half cooked).
4. Add light soya sauce, black soya sauce and sugar and continue to fry for a while.
5. Add some water and let the prawns simmer till cooked.
6. Add some cornstarch solution to thicken the gravy.
7. Throw in some spring onions, give it a quick stir and serve.
Note: This dish is suppose to taste more sweet than savoury. So add sufficient sugar, but according to your preference.
