Sotong Masala by Cynthia Joseph Selvarajoo



Ingredients:
1 kg sotong(clean cut into circle shapes)
2 potato (cut in cubes)
1 big onion
1 tomatoes (cut into six)
4 red chillie padi
A few curry leaves
2 tbsp Baba fish curry masala
1 tbsp Baba chillie powder
1tsp turmeric powder
2 Cinnamon /3 gloves
1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
2 tsp salt
3 tbsp oil
2 tbsp coconut milk
Corinder leaves for garnish.

Method:
In a wok, pour in the oil, followed by the cinnamon gloves and curry leaves. Then put in the potato. Stir till the potato is cooked. Then put in the onions chillie padi and tomato.
Stir till onions are golden brown. Then add the ginger garlic paste and stir for 3 mins.
Then put in the sotong, salt and turmeric powder. Cook for 5 mins and now put the baba fish powder and chillie powder under slow fire and stir. Then add half cup of water to let the curry powder cook well. The abt 10 mins later add the coconut milk. Cook for another 5 mins and that's it . Garnish with corinder leaves and serve
