Crab Bee Hoon by Janice Looi



Soup Base:
Ginger about 2cm
Spring Onion 2 stalks (section)
Dried shrimps a handful
Garlic (optional)
Chicken stock a small pkt (250ml)
Crabs 2pcs
Chicken bones

1. Fry ginger, spring onion, shrimps, garlic & crabs till fragrant.
2. Add 3 medium bowls of water and chicken stock & bring to boil. You may want to put the crab aside.
3. Add chicken bone & let it simmer till it look pale in colour.
4. Strain the stock & bring to boil again.
5. Lastly add bee hoon, vegetables, fish ball (optional), tomatoes, tofu, crabs and bring to a boil again.
6. Add pepper and salt to taste.
7. Serve with chopped spring onion, fried onion n chillies with a dash of sesame oil
8. XO and milk for final touch (optional)
