Sambal Belacan Mayonnaise Halibut by Rontree Chan

Usually I will bake fish fillet with Mentaiko mayo, but since I have this Prima Taste Sambal Belacan Paste, why not giving it a twist. Oh yes, it does saves me a lot of time and it tastes really tokong too.
While these halibut are baking in oven, my son even thought I am grilling bbq stingray, because it smell so nice and really delicious.

Ingredients : ( 6-8 fillets)6 halibut fillets
1 pack 80g Prima Taste Sambal Belacan Paste
1/2 lemon juice
7 Tbsp mayonnaise
4 tsp sugar
Some Parmesan powder
Some salt and pepper.
Method:
1) mix Prima Taste Sambal Belacan Paste, with mayonnaise, sugar and lemon juice to form a paste.
2) wipe dry halibut, season with salt and pepper. Pan sear it on hot pan, 2 minutes on each side.
3) dish out and let it cool slightly.
4) spread the sambal Belacan mayo on it and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese powder.
5) bake in oven 180degree, centre rack for 7-8 minutes.
6) sprinkle some spring onion for garnishing and serve with calamansi lime juice.
