Chicken Rice by Tay Ai Whey


3 cups rice washed and rinsed
Cook as per yr rice cooker function
500g chicken fillets sliced
1 knob ginger smashed
4 pieces garlic smashed
1 tablespoon sesame oil
3 pieces of pandan leaves, knotted


1 teaspoon chicken powder
1 tablespoon sesame oil
Few pieces of ginger minced
A pinch of salt
Dash of white pepper


Cook the rice as per yr rice cooker function. Add in the garlic and ginger. Then add in the sliced chicken fillet strips. Cover and cook.

Mix the sauces and combine them well. Adjust the taste according to your preference by adding in extra sesame oil, chicken stock powder, salt or pepper.

Once the rice is cooked, leave it for another 15 minutes before serving.
