Chicken Satay by Jessica Lie

Ingredients:
Chicken meat (I used drumstick meat) cut into bite size
Pork (Optional)
Bamboo skewers

Seasonings (To be grounded or blended):
6 Garlic
10 Shallot
Thumb size Galangal
2 tsp white pepper
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp fennel powder
1 tsp cumin powder
2 tsp turmeric powder
Thumb size Belacan

3 tbsp sugar
2 tsp salt

Directions:
1. Marinate the chicken and pork meat with the blended seasonings, salt and sugar. Leave it in the fridge for at least 4 hours.
2. Stick the meat (3-5 chunks) onto the bamboo skewer.
3. Preheat Air Fryer at 180° Spray the satay with a bit of oil and put 6-8 sticks of satay and fry it for 5 minutes and then brush it with some honey. Turn the satays and fry again for another 2 minutes and brush the satays again with some honey.
4. Lastly put it back to fry for another 1 minute. Serve with satay sauce and condiments.
