Spaghetti with tomatoes sauce by Stacey Toh


Ingredients
1. About 3 tbsp of olive oil
2. One big white onions chopped
3. One carrot chopped
4. 3 stalk of celery chopped
5. One big capsicum chopped
6. 2 red chilies chopped ( remove seed)
7. Half cup of red wine
8. 500g of tomatoes paste
9. 2 cups of water
10. Some Italian herbs
11. Black pepper
12. Salt
13. Parmesan cheese (optional)

Method
1. Heat wok, add in olive oil followed by chopped onions fry till fragrant, add in chopped carrot, celery, capsicum and
chilies. Fry for 1 ~ 2 mins.
2. Add in red wine and let it cook for a min, add in tomatoes paste and water. Add in black pepper and some Italian herbs. Once boiled, turn on to low heat and let it simmer for another 10 mins. used a hand held blender and blend it till smooth. Cook for another 2 ~ 3 mins. Once ready Add in salt.

For the pastaCook in boiling water that has been well salted for about 8 mins or till soft. Drained and toss the pasta with some Olive oil.
Add in sauce and serve.
