Cream Crackers Meatballs by Michelle Heng

Adapted recipe from

350g minced meat
6 pcs cream crackers (crushed)
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tbsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp sesame oil
1 egg (lightly beaten)
1 tbsp sweet potato / potato flour
Oil (deep frying)

1. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly and set aside for 1/2 hr.
2. Roll the minced meat mixture into bite size meatballs with wet hands (so that they won't stick to the palms).
3. Ensure sufficient oil in a small pot and is hot before deep frying commences.
4. Deep fry in batches till golden brown and drain on kitchen towel.
5. Serve with your favourite dipping sauce or eat plain on its own.
