Hakka Steamed Minced Meat with Salted Egg 咸蛋蒸猪肉 by Anna Tan


Ingredients
300 gm minced pork
¾ tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp soya sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
2 dashes of White Pepper powder
2 tsp corn starch/ corn flour
4 to 5 tbsp water
1 raw salted egg
Some cut spring onion

Method
1. In a wide and deep dish, add in the minced meat, the rest of marinade, corn flour and 5 tbsp water. Mix well. Let it season for at least 30 mins (some recipe called for 1 hour).
2. Separate the salted yolk and white, pour in the egg white into the well season minced meat. Mix well.
3. Place the raw egg yolk on top of the meat mixture.
4. Steam it for 10-12 min on high heat.
5. Garnish with some spring onion, Ready to serve!
