15-20 dried chili (remove the seeds of you don't want it to be too hot & soak in hot water till soft..drain water put a side)
3-4 cloves garlic
1 tbsp dried shrimp (soaked till soft)
Salt & sugar for taste
Oil for frying
1 tbsp tamarind mix with 4tbsp water (sourness of the sambal you can adjust base on your own preference)
1. Blend all the above ingredients except for sugar & salt into a paste with half cup water. (Do not put too much water as your cili paste will take a longer time to crisp)
2. Heat up 4 tbsp of cooking oil add the paste.Fry till the color change darker red or no pungent cili smell.
3. Add in the tamarind water,sugar and salt.
4. Stir & fry till the paste slightly thick.
5. Then add the quail eggs.
