Mee Siam by Clarine Lin

Shortcut version Mee Siam serve 3
1/2 pack Bee hoon soaked
One handful of bean spout
2 to 3 tbsp Sambal Chilli
1/2 cup Water
10 pcs prawn

2 to 3pcs fish cake sliced
Some ku chye
2 hard boil egg, cut half
grounded Peanut
Some Limes

One tbsp of salted bean paste(mince)
2 Tau pok (sliced)
One cup Assam juice
2 or 3 tbsp Belacan
800 ml of water
Some Rock sugar
Pinch of salt

1. In the heated wok, mix sambal with water. Add in the prawn, stir for awhile. Add bee hoon and bean spout, stir fry till evenly coated.

2. For gravy. In a wok, heat some oil, stir fry the bean paste and add in the Belacan then bring it to a pot, add in water and all the ingredient. Stir till boil.

3. In a plate, arrange the bee hoon and pour the gravy over. serve with some garnishing. Enjoy.
