Thick Toast with Ice-cream by Lena Lai



Bake own bread or buy unsliced loaf bread. Cut abt 1 1/2 - 2" thick, preferably the both ends with crust. Lay it down, cut into half of the depth, to get 9 cubes. Do not cut through. Use 5 tbsp normal temp butter n mix with 2 tbsp condensed milk. Brush the top n all sides. Bake for 15-20 mins at 180. Check on your bread off n on not to char it. Take it out from oven, u can top with fruits, whipping cream, Nutella, honey or nuts. Up to your taste. If you prefer to top it with ice cream, let the bread cook down for 10mins, scoop ice cream on top n put some chocolate sauce on top. Ready to serve. This is a very simple toast.
