Black Hokkien Mee by Zann Teo

Flat yellow mee
White long cabbage
Fish cake
Fish ball
Sliced pork or sliced chicken fillet
Pot of stock - chicken bones boil with ikan bilis & yellow bean

Fry garlic with vege n pork till the veg is soft . Add stock, light sauce , pepper , salt a bit almost boiling add fishball , fishcake , prawns n sotong bring to boil add flat noodles .Add dark soya sauce for the colour . Prefer dark can add more . premium dark sauce is prefer as taste will be affected too .
Lastly add potato starch mix well with water thicken it .
Potato starch give a better n nicer and smooth texture .
Topped with fried shallots ...yummy ...
