Curry Chicken by Christine Tan



8 drumsticks washed & marinate with 1 tablespoon of curry powder(bengawan solo brand) & 1 tablespoon sugar for 1hr
1 pkt A1 Chicken Curry instant paste
1 pkt heavy cream 200ml (Emborg brand)/or u can also use coconut milk
5 medium potatoes peeled cut quarters
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 bowl of water - 600ml
1 big tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
1 stalk lemongrass chopped into half
5pips garlic peeled & smashed 1 teaspoon sugar

Heat wok ..add smashed garlic and lemongrass fry till fragrance
Add A1 CC paste and mix well
Add chicken and potatoes and continue stirring for approx. 8mins
Add heavy cream and turmeric powder ..mix well for 5mins
Add water and light soy sauce & 1 teaspoon sugar..stir well & cover lid to cook for 30mins (medium fire)
Open lid and stir well and close lid again ..cook for another 20-30mins
Off fire and let it set for 10mins before serve
P/s- u may add more curry powder if u like it very spicy
