Whole Wheat waffles by Theresa Chu


Ingredients:
2 cups whole wheat flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1 3/4 cups milk
100g butter, melted and cooled
1 tablespoon white sugar

Method:
Sift flour, baking powder and salt in a large bowl. Stir in sugar.
In a separate bowl or large measuring cup, beat together eggs, milk and melted butter.
Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and beat till smooth.
Preheat waffle iron according to instructions (I preheat mine for about 3-4 min on each side).
Spray waffle iron with non-stick baking spray.
Pour batter into iron and cook for 3-4 min per side (stove top iron
Serve with more butter and maple syrup.
