Tod mun pla, Thai fish cakes by Lena Lai


Long bean, carrot n kaffir lime leaves sliced thinly, add into fish paste.

Add fish sauce, sugar and corn flour.

Add in chilli n turmeric powder too. Stir in one direction.

Now to mould the fish cake, wet your hands in water mixed with salt. Then you can easily mould them without the paste sticking onto your hands.

Pan fry till golden brown. It is that easy. Saltiness depends on how much fish sauce you use.
