1. Chicken wings marinate with light, dark soy sauce, shao xin wine, oyster sauce & a bit of sugar for half an hour
2. Cut 1 large onion, 2 carrots, 2 potatoes and a few slices of ginger
3. Heat the oil and saute ginger & onion until fragrant, add in wings to stir fry till lightly brown
4. Add in the rest of veggies and cook for a few mins, add in enough chicken broth to cover everything until boiling, season with salt & dark soy sauce for darker colour. Lower the heat to simmer for 20 mins or until cook.
5. Thicken the sauce with mixture of 2 tspn corn starch, a bit sesame oil, a pinch of white pepper and 2 tbsp of water.
6. Tadah with a comfort 1 pot dish and served!
