Nasi lemak chilli by Lay Lian Loong‎

Recipe is taken from a file in the straits Times. Recipe shared by Lee Wee Bros nasi Lemak
70g fresh red chilli
1 large red onion
6 cloves of garlic
3 tablespoon cooking oil
80g ikan bilis, ground to fine powder
8g salt
18g sugar

Blend fresh red chilli, garlic and onion to a smooth paste.
To a heated wok, add cooking oil,and stir fry the ground ikan bilis for about 2 minutes till fragrant.
Add the ground chilli paste, salt and sugar and stir fry for another 15 minutes.

Please note that I made many adjustments as I was cooking this. The ingredients measurement given are not accurate. I used double portion of the chilli, garlic and onion. More than 3 tablespoons of cooking oil was used ( about 8-10) and also double the amount of sugar and salt. Please adjust accordingly to your tastebud. You may want to add dried chilli to the chilli paste.
This chilli is good and I thought it tastes more like Ponggol nasi lemak chilli after adjustment.
