Gula melaka huat kueh by Corde Chia/Aster Alyse Eder



250 grams of self raising flour
150 grams of Gula Melaka
1 teaspoon of double acting baking powder or baking powder
1 packet or 200 ml of coconut milk
50ml of plain water
2 tablespoons of olive oil / cooking oil

Boil at low heat and stir water, palm sugar and coconut milk till sugar all dissolved.
Sift in flour and baking powder and add oil
Stir till well mixed
Pour into baking cups
Use greased knife or scissors to make a cross on surface
Steam on high heat for 15-20mins, serve hot.
