Yam Paste with Gingko Nuts and Coconut Milk by Aster Alyse Eder



serve abt 4

250g taro
1 pkt gingko nuts
200ml cocoNut milk
Pandan leaves
White sugar
Oil 1/2 cup (don need to use lard oil can use olive oil or corn oil for healthier choice )

Soak gingko nuts in brown coconut sugat solution at least 2hours before.
Peel and steam taro with pandan leaves till soft
Mash with sugar n oil till smooth (have to taste as u mix)
Steam again for at least 30mins
(Added 100ml of coconut milk into paste before steam)

After can serve with gingko nuts and drizzle remaining coconut milk.
